We live on a dead end road back in the boonies so to speak. Our backyard is a creek that winds through the woods and horse shoes at our backyard. We have 7 acres and to us it is just paradise. This picture of our family on this HUGE rock is also on our property. We have many large rocks everywhere! We also are nature lovers and love birch trees and have quite a few thus our kennel name. We have many different types of woodpeckers and various other birds. I love to birdwatch. We have alot of deer passing through, turkeys, squirrels and the list goes on. Wonderful place to raise our dogs and 3 children.

Jeff works at a local factory building pizza prep tables for big restaurant chains. He is one of their top welders. He also coaches my sons baseball and rocket football teams.
He also plays on a mens basketball league.

I work at a small post office in a neighboring town. I have been there 20 yrs and we are like a family there. Everyone gets along well and that makes it a great place to work. I break up and sort all the mail that comes in and also wait on customers. I do this the first half of the day, then i go to another town where i work the afternoon as a veterinarians assistant. I help with surgeries, routine appointments, appointment making etc. Just a little bit of everything. I LOVE this job! I have done this for 15 yrs. You sure can have your ups and downs there though. Some very sad days and some wonderful days when you save a life. I also play on a womans softball league. I am the starting leftfielder and pitch as well. I also armwrestle occaisionally in competitions and LOVE football! I coach the 11-12yr old girls softball and have coached for many years winning many championships.

My oldest daughter Erica is going to college and working at a pharmacy. She was the bands Drum Major in marching band and played Clarinet in the Symphony band the rest of the year. She also played Softball through highschool and was the pitcher.

 

Kristen is 16 and runs track. She is your typical teenage girl who loves to listen to music and talk on the phone with her girlfriends, go shopping and read books. She just came home from a trip to Germany and absolutely loved it!

 

Jacob is 10 and a major sports nut. He plays baseball, basketball, rocket football and sometimes soccer. He loves to collect cards in all those sports as well. He is a super fun kid and likes to tease his bigger sisters like all little brothers do. And is great help to his mom with the dogs.
